Have you ever got confused between -isation and -ization while writing a word and one of your friends is saying that it is -isation and another one is saying that -ization is correct?

In British English either one of -ize or -ise is correct whereas in American English only -ize is considered as the correct one. So if you are confused I would recommend you go with -ize always. But mostly go with the one which is preferred by the person to whom you are writing to. Many times the correct is considered as -ise for British and -ize for American.
